Examples include calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, dial gauges, feeler levers, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why do we need the standards\/guidelines?<br \/>\n<\/strong>The standards\/guidelines serve as the basis for calibration. They contain the <strong>procedure <\/strong>and the required <strong>measuring points<\/strong>. We therefore calibrate calibration items in accordance with the relevant standard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there a replacement?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Yes! From the start of the new year 2022, calibrations that were previously carried out in accordance with DKD-R 4-3 will now be carried out in accordance with <strong>VDI\/VDE\/DGQ 2618 <\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What will change for you as a customer?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Basically nothing! The content of the standards is almost identical. The protocol no longer refers to the DKD guideline, but to VDI\/VDE\/DGQ 2618. The <strong>calibration procedure remains unchanged<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What will change for us as a service provider?<br \/>\n<\/strong>We took care of acquiring the current standards and adapted all documents (certificates, internal documents, etc.).<br \/>\nWe have also submitted an <strong>amendment application for our certificate to the DAkkS<\/strong>, which is currently being processed there.<\/p>\n<p>While we wait for the new certificate to be processed and approved, we would be delighted to continue calibrating your devices to <strong>the highest quality standards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of this year, the DKD-R 4-3 series of guidelines will be withdrawn by the DKD.
